Branntor Hills

A trackless highland east of Blackhall and Leawick, populated by isolated clans of inbred hillfolk and the rugged sheep that provide for them. The crags and rocks of the hills hide many ruins from ages long past.

The name “Branntor” means “the hills of black birds”, and the region was indeed home to great numbers of crows, ravens and blackbirds until the Battle of the Crimson Crossing, when they are said to have flown over the Ironheart Mountains to feast on the plentiful carrion left on the field of battle. It is only now, after ten years, that they have returned.
